‍‍`Children need cultural activity for humanity‍‍`

Ghulam Quddus, Sammilita Sangskritik Jote president, said that the first thing we do choose to become human is education. It is definitely what all parents want, the education, for their children. Parents run from one coaching center to another throughout the year, wasting and investing money and life. Education must be done, along with its real human senses must be awakened. That is why children need to be included in cultural practices.

He said these things at the annual prize distribution and cultural function of Surtal Sangeet Academy at the Dr. Neelima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mahila Samiti, Bailey Road on Sunday. Academy artists performed songs at the beginning of the program.

Ghulam Quddus also said, no song tells your child to perish. Poems, dramas, pictures, painting, they teach people to love, help to build friendship. People create bonds between people.

Those who are not involved in cultural practices will see teenagers getting involved in gangs. Chatting with boys in the neighborhood. You will not even realize when your child is involved in a juvenile gang. Children should be inculcated with patriotism, and then they will have a sense of responsibility.

He also said that children should be included in other socio-cultural activities in addition to education in order to inculcate patriotism in the family, to inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the society. Then he will grow up with all qualities as a true human being. There is no alternative to make the child study, but besides this if you can associate him with music, sports or other social activities, then he will become a real person. You can take responsibility for yourself; you can take responsibility for your family. One day you will be able to take responsibility of the state, which you will not even realize.

Former Secretary General of Bangladesh Group Theater Federation Aktaruzzaman, Vice President of Bangladesh Mass Music Coordinating Council Fakir Siraj, President of Daniya Cultural Association Abu Azad and General Secretary of Bangladesh Shishu Sanganta Oikya Jot Niaz Ahmed gave speeches as special guests. Faizul Bari Imu, director of Surtal Sangeet Academy, presided over the event. Finally, the guests gave away the prizes to the winners.
